Come join Maureen as she hosts Monica McCormick (Weaving Traditions)
in understanding and learning about Herbalism and how to apply it to our everyday life.

Monica:
 “Herbalism to many is a way to use plants to heal and support the body but for me, it is much more than that. For me, Herbalism not only supports and heals, it also creates a deep connection to the earth and reconnects us to nature and the cycle of reciprocity.”

This class will touch on how to be responsible and wise with the gifts she (Mother Earth) gives us and our part in the cycle of reciprocity in caring for her.
Our topic will be:

-The history of Herbalism and the medicines … of nature

-How to store and recognize freshness

-Proper use of herbs

-Drug, drug food and herb interaction

-Ethical wild crafting

-Our responsibility to Nature
